Here's some old stuff from my blogQueue, and some new ideas and such:
Music is subjective. One can like one style of music or all, one artist or many. One person's favorite list will look different than anothers, even siblings. Music critics, while generally full of shit are paid to read between the lines. They interview artists, and can know when songs are missing a certain drum fill or if the guitar play was "off" or on quaaludes. My return to blogging will celebrate my noviceness with my own take on some things music.
My own re-analysis of The Beatles began a year or so ago when I rediscovered "Help!". I've spent many days tossing up my favorite album by certain artists, Metallica, Reel Big Fish and the Beatles in particular. It seems "favorite" always seems to mean "favorite at the time". I tried, quite unsuccessfully to rank some of the Beatles albums...though Sgt. Peppers remains my favorite. "Help!" is climbing the ranks, particularly because "Ticket to Ride" remains "one of my favorites". Being incredible songwriters surely helps the Beatles' case, for they churned out so much in a 10 year span.

"Democracy is cancerous, and bureaus are its cancer. A bureau takes root anywhere in the state, turns malignant like the Narcotic Bureau, and grows and grows, always reproducing more of its own kind, until it chokes the host if not controlled or excised. Bureaus cannot live without a host, being true parasitic organisms. (A cooperative on the other hand can live without the state. That is the road to follow. The building up of independent units to meet needs of the people who participate in the functioning of the unit. A bureau operates on opposite principle of inventing needs to justify its existence.) Bureaucracy is wrong as a cancer, a turning away from the human evolutionary direction of infinite potentials and differentiation and independent spontaneous action, to the complete parasitism of a virus."
If i had a brain, it would tell me to stop writing now and publish the post, unfortunately, i currently have the problem of "notcaringwhatmymindsays-itis" (ed. the writer(s) at johnny.random are trying too hard, I think)

I currently have a boycott on McDonalds for them being cheap-asses. If you haven't heard, their double cheese isn't on the dollar menu anymore. It's $1.39. The new item on the dollar menu, the McDouble, which is the same thing minus one slice of cheese. Cheap. Asses. Wont. Get. My. Business.
And I was going to go to Dunkin Donuts later this morning, but I decided to boycott them too. 1) They don't have a cool "here's your order and the amount board" 2) they always screw up my order somehow 3) They never even give a total after you place an order 4)they suck ass.
In case you're wondering, Portillo's is still cool. (ed. Gee, thanks, like our reader(s) didn't know that already)
